Morning Procedures
Student Arrivals
- Eagle Ridge is open to students starting at 7:25 a.m. daily. There is no supervision for students dropped-off before 7:25 a.m., so we highly suggest students not arrive before that time.
- Students will go straight to their classrooms, unless they are eating breakfast at school.
- Students who eat breakfast will go to the cafeteria to get their breakfast before going to the classroom.
- All students arrive through the front door entrance. Staff will be outside to monitor students crossing the street and directing traffic.
- The front drive will utilize two lanes for drop-off.
- Please pull all the way up passed the crosswalks to the 2nd grade doors.
- Do not stop in the crosswalk.
- Please help us make arrival as efficient as possible by teaching your child to unbuckle and be ready to exit the car.
- Students must exit curbside.
- There is a RIGHT TURN ONLY when EXITING Eagle Ridge.
- All parents, guardians and visitors will enter the building through the front door. To enter the building past the office, a parent or visitor must present a valid driver’s license. This is not meant as an inconvenience for our families and friends, but as a safety measure for our students to control who has access to them during the school day.
- During Severe Weather, staff members will open the hallway doors but must remain inside. No one will be in the crosswalk for safety reasons.
- Driveway by the cafeteria is for buses, daycares, and special need families only
- Remember that we have over 500 students arriving each day, and these procedures are put in place for every child’s safety. Common courtesy and everyone following the procedures will help to make dismissal safe and quick for all.
After 7:55 all students entering the building will be considered tardy.
