We Believe in Our School So We...
- Make eye contact. When someone is speaking, keep your eyes on him or her at all times. If someone makes a comment, turn and face that person.
- Respect everyone’s personal space by keeping your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
- Always say thank you when someone gives you something or does something for you. Saying thank you shows gratitude.
- When responding to any adult, you must answer by saying “yes”, “no” or using a complete sentence. In conversation with others, it is important to use complete sentences out of respect for the person’s question.
- If you win or do well at something, do not brag. If you lose or do poorly on something, do not show anger. Show humility and stay calm.
- Care for our building and the property of others. If you borrow something, return it in the same condition you got it.
- When in line: Walk single file, behind the person in front of you with your arms at your sides. You should face forward and be at a level zero.
- Accept that you are going to make mistakes. Learn from them and move on.
- No matter the circumstances, always be honest. Even if you have done something wrong, it is best to admit it.
- Include everyone. We are a family and should treat everyone with respect and kindness.
Be the best person you can be!
